For years I have been on the search of a quality 8' rod that did not break the bank. Well we had to take matters into our own hands on this one and we worked with Kufa of Canada to develop this rod. The rod is IM7 2 piece with 12 guides including the tip yes 12. The rod is soft enough to handle the early season Kokanee but yet enough back bone to take on the bigger hard fighting Kokanee of Flaming Gorge. We have even tested the rod out on land lock Kings with out any problem.
